BIO / STATEMENT
Artist Statement should be 200 words or less. OPPORTUNITY: CALL FOR ENTRIES Inspired by the hope that Spring WILL arrive this year, and having hope for all sorts of things anyway, electrical bananas, the sun, daffodils, lemons and yellow submarines, we invite you to submit work for consideration into our Drawing Rooms spring exhibit, "Right Now It's All Yellow". The show is dedicated to Donovan whose music was emblematic of the flower power era with its blend of folk, pop, psychedelica and jazzy stylings, and whose early songs, Mellow Yellow, Sunshine Superman and Colours, we especially like. Drawing Rooms is a non-profit art gallery in Jersey City producing exhibitions, programs and public art projects in the NJ/NY area with a national and international reach since 2001. EVENTS CURATION ACCEPTABLE WORKS

Please self-assess if your frame is strong enough for this. Otherwise, please use picture wire (not fishing line); d-rings are ok. Cleats are not acceptable, nor anything that requires the use of screws in the wall. SALE OF ARTWORK SUBMISSIONS DUE: 3/23/25 DROP OFF Works will be checked upon arrival.
